Getting paid back

Insurance, Medicare, and superbills.

We don't bill insurance directly. You pay when you book, on our secure scheduling page, and we give you everything you need to seek reimbursement on your own.

A superbill is an itemized receipt with the procedure and diagnosis codes your insurer needs to consider an out-of-network claim. Submit it with your insurer's out-of-network claim form, and keep a copy for your records. Many PPO plans reimburse part of the visit, so it's worth checking your plan's out-of-network benefits before you book.

Medicare does not reimburse our visit fee. The lab still bills Medicare for the tests themselves as usual.

Plans change

Cancellation and reschedule policy.

Reschedule or cancel free of charge up to 24 hours before your appointment. Inside 24 hours, or if we arrive and the draw can't go ahead, a $50 visit fee applies and the rest is refunded. If we have to cancel, you are never charged. Full terms and cancellation policy.

Clinics & facilities

For clinics and care facilities.

Practices, concierge medicine, home-health agencies, and assisted-living communities: we run standing orders and scheduled rounds, and we can draw several residents in one visit. Email mariposaphlebotomymobile@gmail.com with your facility, the number of patients, and how often you need us, and we'll send group pricing within one business day.
